"Trapped in the Format" Linocut Print

A3 linocut print. A series of 50 prints made by me in my art studio un Granada, Spain.

"Trapped in the format" is a recurring term I use throughout my body of work. It stands for the duality of both being trapped in a shape, but at the same time breaking free from it. The woman in the image is filling out the whole space she's in, yet she's also growing too big for the space that "contains" her.

 Each individual print might have minor differences from the one shown in the image, this is part of the printing process, which makes each print a singular work. The print received after order might be any number between 1 and 50.

I use high-quality printing paper (Arches/Somerset) of 200 g/m2, or more.
